UTMB Galveston AIDS Clinical Trials Unit Community Advisory Board (CAB).

Pade asked for the CAB’s
assistance in Latino AIDS Awareness Day on Saturday, October 15th.
He is working closely with others in the community and our Outreach
Coordinator (Denise) to have a successful event.

Robert and Denise reminded everyone
about The United States Conference on AIDS (USCA) coming to
·
A.C.C.T. is planning a World AIDS
Day event with an education outreach theme to the schools and a formal unveiling
of their new sculpture.
When: Tuesday, September 27, 2005, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Refreshments and light meal available at 5:15 p.m.
*NOTE:
Due to Hurricane Rita evacuation of Galveston Island, the September
meeting was
cancelled and the next scheduled CAB meeting date will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2005
from 5:30 – 7:00pm;
for now, we will still meet in the conference room at Marvin Graves
building (info below) as no alternative site has been located for the group to
meet off campus.
Where: UTMB-Marvin Graves Building, 1012 Texas Ave. (The Strand), 4th floor Conference Room #4.208. Public parking available at Garage #2 next to the UTMB Emergency Room on Harborside Drive. Parking tokens available to meeting attendees. (See map for directions.)
